Soller
Your first trip stop is Sóller, with his five 16th-century facades, an 18th-century convent, and a parish church of the 16th and 17th centuries. It lies in a broad basin where citrus and olive trees are abundant. Many painters, including Rusiñol, settled here and found inspiration.
We drive then along the sea front and up through the orange and lemon orchards to Port de Sóller, one of the best natural shelters along the island. It lies at the back of a bay that is almost round. A submarine base is here today, but it is also a harbor for pleasure craft. It has a lovely beach. The Sanctuary of Santa Catalina dominates one of the best views of the inlet.
Valldemossa
Walk around the charming village of Valldemossa, located in the Tramuntana mountain area, where the composer Frédéric Chopin and the French writer George Sand spent a winter together.
Visit the 17th century Carthusian Monastery, famous for its beautiful cloisters, gardens and the 18th century pharmacy.
Browse and explore the many shops at your leisure before re-boarding the coach for the approximately 20 minute drive to your next destination, through the rocky landscape of the Serra de Tramuntana, a UNESCO World Heritage listed mountain range and the most extensive natural reserve on Mallorca.
